Raph Koster just posted a ton of responses to visitor mail.  It’s quite good, actually– he takes questions that in some cases seem overly vague or not worth answering, and posts some really insightful ideas.  My favorite bit is the second question, which is about racism in fantasy.  Raph actually takes it into a brief analysis of conflict in fantasy, in general, and the amount of thought he’s putting into cultural conflict to avoid “just creating “bad guys” for the sake of bad guys.”.
