Age of Conan disc 1 inserted 8:50pm. Ready for play: 12:45am. Most of it wasn’t even the patching. It was just installing from disc. This is on a pretty solid but non-RAIDed rig.
Update: check that. Still working on getting the video settings right (it doesn’t auto-recommend any), after creating an account took forever when all of my normal names were taken, and you have to reenter your password and credit card number each time one is taken.

Dude, you would not believe what was taken. MattFranklinSux, MattFranklinSuxx0rz, even MattSuxxx!!!111 (which contained illegal characters , but Funcom made an exception for it).

Since we’re on it, I’m totally digging this new free MMO “Wikipedia”. It’s all about fighting vandals and fixing infrastructure in their destructive wake. Let’s see another MMO match THAT!

It was only 2 discs. As in, Digital Video Discs. And it’s only 25gb.
Has issue 12 fixed CoH so that you can only fight level 1 thugs 1v1 now? The exploit of people fighting level 2 thugs was getting out of hand. Also, I hope enhancements are purely cosmetic now. The way they were increasing the effectiveness of powers was abusive.
