This is something I need to implement for my iphone app. You can tap to drag or pinch to resize, but when you let up a finger after pinching, it suddenly thinks you're dragging again, and the object jumps. You can't tell by looking at the current finger inputs whether the user is dragging or pinching, or what object they're interacting with. Ooh, I didn’t know this had a name. Neat!
